General Settings

Configure your store's foundation: name, URL, logo, currency, language, and advanced preferences.

Accessing the page

From the left main menu, click 'Settings', then select 'General Settings'. Once inside, the top displays: General Settings. The page is organized into tabs.

Page Tabs

Site Info
Store name, URL, logo, status, favicon, etc.
Account Info
Merchant login account info, change password
Multilingual Settings
Enable additional language versions
Advanced Settings
Site-wide preferences (disable right-click image saving, promo display, etc.)

Site Info Tab

Site name
Displayed as the storefront name, in order notifications, and as the browser title; if too long, the system warns 'Store name is too long'
Company name
Legal company name shown on receipts and invoices
Site URL
Displays the current URL (e.g., storename.shopage.org); a custom URL can be requested
Status
Open / Suspended / Closed
Logo / Favicon
Upload the store Logo + Favicon (recommended 32×32 pixels)
Country
Country/region where the store is located
E-commerce features
Enable/disable e-commerce features
Members only?
When enabled, non-members cannot place orders

Advanced Settings Tab

Admin language
Switch the admin panel interface language
Interface theme
Light / Dark
Disable right-click image saving (desktop only)
Prevents visitors from right-clicking to download product images
Number of related promotions shown on product pages
All promotions / Site-wide promotions / Category promotions
Use new system pages
Switch between new and legacy system pages
Operational TipsWhen opening a new store, set the store name, logo, favicon, and country first. Notify customers before changing your URL. If you want to change the multilingual setting after enabling more than one language, please contact customer service.
