The Advanced Payment Settings page configures the shop's advanced electronic payment methods, also called "Online Payment". It is mainly for HK merchants to integrate with local Hong Kong payment gateways and accept AlipayHK, PayMe, WeChat Pay HK, Octopus, Tap & Go, credit cards, FPS, and other online electronic payments on both the storefront and POS.
Entering the Page
In the left main menu, click "Settings", then select "Advanced Payment Settings". Once inside, the top displays: Advanced Payment. The layout is split in two: the left side lists payment method logos (select one to configure); the right side shows that method's detailed settings.
Onboarding Requirements (HK Online Payment)The merchant must hold a valid Business Registration (BR) and a corresponding business bank account (personal accounts are generally not accepted). Some providers (QFPay, Yedpay, etc.) additionally require proof of business address, company registration documents, etc. Application and approval typically take 1–4 weeks depending on the gateway.

The same payment method may be available from more than one provider (e.g., AlipayHK can be provided by COD, Yedpay, or QFPay). The system suggests enabling only one provider per method to avoid duplicate fees. Each payment method displays "Provided by XXX" indicating its underlying gateway.
Enabling a Payment Method
Pick a Payment MethodSelect the payment method you want to enable from the logo list on the left (e.g., PayMe).
Open Settings PanelThe right-side settings panel will expand showing that method's details and an enable button.
Complete IntegrationClick "Connect" or the corresponding enable button and follow the instructions to finish integration (some methods require scanning a QR code with a phone).
Confirm Enabled StateOnce integrated, the payment method will switch to "Enabled".
DisconnectTo remove an integration, click "Cancel existing connection".
Important NotesSome payment methods (e.g., Yedpay, Octopus, QFPay) require you to first apply for a merchant account with the corresponding provider and pass approval. If you have not applied yet, email cs@shopage.org or WhatsApp customer service for assistance. If your plan does not include the relevant permission, the system will show an application entry; follow the on-page prompt to contact SHOPAGE customer service to enable it.
Common Settings for Each Payment Method
Enable / Disable
Toggles whether the payment method appears on the checkout page.
Pass fee on to buyer
Adds the gateway processing fee to the order total as a "pass-through fee" borne by the customer (enter a percentage or fixed amount).
Minimum order amount
The order amount must reach a specified threshold before this payment method can be used.
Show on POS only
The payment method only appears on in-store POS and not on the storefront checkout page.
Save changes
Click "Save changes" at the bottom right after configuring to take effect.
Taiwan Merchants
Taiwan merchants can integrate ECPay as the local payment gateway and can also enable ECPay logistics in Delivery Settings. Contact SHOPAGE customer service to set up ECPay integration.
RecommendationsFor methods that share the same payment type (e.g., AlipayHK), enable only one provider to avoid customer confusion and duplicate fees. Review your cost structure before enabling "pass fee on to buyer" to avoid hurting checkout conversion. Each provider has different fee rates and settlement cycles — read the gateway's contract carefully. To accept Consumption Vouchers, choose voucher-supported wallets (AlipayHK, WeChat Pay HK, Tap & Go, Octopus, PayMe) and complete the integration.
