Order on Behalf

Order on Behalf lets you place an order on a customer's behalf — used for phone, WhatsApp or walk-in orders. It loads the POS interface for searching products, adding to cart and checkout.

Entering the Page

From the left main menu, click "Orders", then "Order on Behalf". The POS interface (shared with the "POS Feature") will load.

Order on Behalf MarkerAll orders created from this page show a "Created on customer's behalf by merchant" marker on the order detail page, distinguishing them from customer self-orders.

Operational Flow

  1. Search or pick a productSearch or pick the product you want to order from the product list.
  2. Pick product optionsE.g., color, size, etc.
  3. Add to cartAfter adding to cart, you can adjust the quantity.
  4. Enter customer contact infoChoose either member or guest identity.
  5. Pick payment and shipping methodsChoose the payment and logistics options based on the customer's needs.
  6. Click CheckoutClick "Checkout" to complete the order.

Notes

  • Stock ReservationOrders created on behalf also reserve product stock.
  • Defaults to UnpaidAfter creation, the payment status defaults to "Unpaid"; you can manually mark it "Paid" on the order detail page.
  • Plan LimitThis page only appears for plans with "Order on Behalf" enabled.
